First Survivor Interview!
Meghan, Kay and Tom come together with cinematographer David Dawson in Jupiter, FL, to film Geoff Etherington, who was ten years old and sailing aboard Athenia with his parents when the ship was torpedoed, Sept. 3, 1939. This is our first survivor interview and we will combine it with an interview of Tom talking about his grandmother’s Athenia experiences to use in our “Sizzle Reel,” a kind of mini-documentary that will illustrate how we intend to tell our story.
