30-DAY FUNDRAISING EFFORT STARTS

We launch a crowdfunding campaign for Athenia’s Last Voyage through Indiegogo with a goal to raise $10,000 for rights to use historic film clips, develop new 3-D animations and to retain the services of a specialty documentary film editor. Each day of the month-long campaign, we plan to show a new video of members of our film crew and some of the Athenia survivors featured in our documentary. Weeks of preparation have gone into the campaign, led by Director/Executive Producer Meghan Courtney.

Donors to the film through Indiegogo will receive special perks for donations of different amounts, including their name in the film’s credits with “Special Thanks.”
